Land Ho!!

Who you callin a ho?

We have breakfast out on deck... I notice that when I look at the moving sea the motion sickness does kind of creep up on me. We dock in Split, Croatia today. They have these little motorboats that pop out of the side of the cruise ship called "Tenders". We take one of these tenders to the port and then proceed to get on a tourbus. It takes us through their museums full of greek and roman influences. We also trek through the Diocletian (Roman emperor) Palace. The palace crevices are full of shops. Just how I think a palace should be. We have lunch in the midst of busy square nearby. Some grilled seafood, proscuitto, spagehetti later, I am so full I feel like I might grow roots into the cobblestore floor. We shop shop shop to use up our Split Kuna. 1 dollar = 5 Kuna. We get back on the boat via the chicken tender quite exhausted.

Tonight we have a dinner onboard their specialty restuaurant Silk Road cuisine by Nobu. Food is incredible... and here I have to quote Ellen. Do we really need to be eating all you can eat? We're not bears... We're not hibernating! My hibernating ass goes to forage for grey goose... we go a hunting in the Pulse Disco. Find out its no Suede or Glas Kat. Travel next door to a cozy wooden piano lounge. There is an old couple requesting songs and singing almost opera style. This must be old people style Maze. A couple drinks later its Casino time again... "I see young people!" A young japanese couple is playing craps. We'are not the only ones! I see a cute young greek heir looking guy sitting down to play black jack. Hmmm.. interesting... (girls know what I'm thinking...) Next stop Venice.

Lee found a new Croatian friend in the palace.
