Arts and crafts time.
I love my doggie balloon :)!
After a nap we check out my new sand and water table.
Too much fun!!
The sand in the sandbox actually has a little bit of a story. I had to call all around the bay area looking for Santastik sand which is silica and quartz free. After I purchased the sand table I went to get the sand for it and put in a order for play sand at the local hardware store. For some reason I googled play sand and it brought up the fact that play sand carries a Prop 65 cancer warning on it. Now I realize this warning is more for people who do jobs such as sandblasting for 8 hours a day 7 days a week for 365 days breathing microfine dust and unless your kid is face down in the sand breathing heavily for 8 hours a day everyday then there probably isn't anything to worry about. But since I was aware of it... I thought I'd just try to get some "safe" sand and finally found a few boxes in San Leandro.
