Florence

The ship docks in Livorno and we take a motorcoach through scenic Tuscany to Florence. We have a full day tour in Florence as well today. The first thing we go see is Michelanglo's David. Which I never knew was 16 feet tall made of one giant piece of marble. Its really very impressive and David got a nice ass. He be showing his goods to everyone. After visiting the museum we have lunch with a young (!!) couple from Hawaii. We then ditch the tour group and go shopping instead before we have to meet up to go back to the boat. We literally are running through the streets trying to shop as fast as we can.

Florence I felt doesnt have much to see besides David's goodies and some churches. It also drizzled when we were there so that didnt add to my interest in Florence. The shopping there however was really fun. We return to the motorcoach and it takes us up to a panoramic view of Florence.

We have dinner at the other specialty restaurant Prego by Wolfgang Puck tonight. I swear they serve one of the best carpaccios I ever have and the mushroom soup is so rich I must of gained about 5lbs right there. I think I've eaten the equivalent number of carbs that I have avoided for the past 5 years... all in these past 6 days.
